WORK WITH AMANDA
Are you experiencing energy slumps, sleepless nights, brain fog and fatigue? Is your memory not what it used to be? Do you have clothes that fit one minute and not the next? Are you having hair horrors and skin struggles and oh, the cravings and the mood swings? If this sounds like you, your hormones might just be asking for help!
When we are busy, we don't always recognise when our hormones are demanding our attention and those feelings of "why am I so tired?" or "I wish I could just eat and not feel so uncomfortable all of the time" go on for way too long!
I understand because I've been there and my clinic supports those who, just like you, are facing the challenges of every day life - chronic stress, lack of sleep, constant cravings and low energy and issues with gut health and food sensitivities - these can all be a clue that your hormones need help.
My aim is to help you to understand why you feel the way you do and to give you the tools you need to feel better and enjoy life with a renewed sense of energy and wellbeing.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT AMANDA
I was bought up in a kitchen - both my parents were chefs and so food wasn't a necessity, it was our life. It might have seemed natural to follow in my parent's footsteps but although I love food, I love the eating of it more than the frenetic pace of a professional kitchen.
My love of food and the way in which it can affect our health, both good and bad, has always been fascinating - I was lucky to have long-lived grandparents and thinking about they way that they ate and lived their lives and how that was connected to their health was one of the motivations to training as a Nutritional Therapist.
The other was my own health, dominated by the presence of hormones that never seemed to quite behave the way they were supposed to. Just when I thought I had "cracked it", along came another stressful event, or another excuse not to eat as well as I should and that would pave the way to weight gain, or mood swings, or crushing fatigue. And then there was the ultimate reason that hormones have to create havoc, the menopause.
My training and experience has enabled me to recognise the signs that my hormones aren't behaving as well as they should and take action before they can cause the kind of chaos that many of us feel while living our crazy, busy modern-day lives.
If you feel that you are struggling to put your finger on just why you don't feel that great, it could be your hormones trying to tell you something. I've been there and I can help. I will combine my experience, expertise and love of food to help you to discover how to eat well and to live well without missing out, and most importantly, I will support you every step of the way.
